An extremely rare document, this four-page promotional publication is advertising the up and coming musical, A Chinese Honeymoon, running for 6 nights from Monday 3rd of October 1904. The publication consists of smooth cream card and is printed with detailed and colourful illustrations of amusing scenes from the play.

A musical comedy of dance and song by George Dance Company with music by Howard Talbot. A Chinese Honeymoon was considered by many to be the most successful of all musical comedies

4 pages including front and back cover pages. Approx. H 26 x W 19 cm.

 

Condition Code: 2-3: Horizontal fold with tears approx. 4cm at each side of fold. No foxing. Two small marks at base when opened. This is a splendid item of theatre memorabilia filled with colourful, detailed illustrations and apart from the tears at the delicate fold, it has remained in a good condition considering its age.
