Stunning Illustrations is one’s first reaction to this lovely 100+ years old theatre programme. The front cover shows the glamourous Alhambra Theatre, Leicester Square, London, lit up to greet the theatre-goers. The other two illustrated pages show the audience watching a dancer on stage.

A rare, historical document for the theatre as it is was demolished in 1936. The Leicester Square Odeon has been built on the site.

6 card pages and 12 internal pages; approx. 27.5cms x 11.5cms when closed

Condition Code: 4-5: The beautiful 3-fold card cover has served well in preserving the nine smooth paper internal pages which are in excellent condition; pages smooth and intact, internal pages show little evidence of handling. The centre page has come loose from the bottom staple due to the rust, as expected from a programme of this age.
