The cast and act list are printed across the internal pages and the two external pages (not including front cover) are filled with small interesting advertisements varying from His Master’s Voice Records to Schweppes beverages.

There is a particularly fascinating and topical advertisement to the wartime era: Hungaria, described as The safe restaurant, bomb-proof, splinter-proof, blast-proof, gas-proof, and boredom proof!

This special early 1940s theatre programme is printed in colourful inks on cream card which has been made into a 2 fold 6-page programme. When folded out the internal pages are printed in black and yellow ink and the external pages are printed with colourful illustrations in red, black and yellow.

The programme is 2 fold 6-pages including front and back cover pages. Approx. H 21cm x W 8cm.

 

Condition Code: 4-5: There is no foxing to the programme. The spine is firmly intact. No tears. The programme is in great condition considering its age.
