Near Fine First Edition – Second Impression
Original Black Cloth Board Binding
A Near Fine, (VG), second impression book published in the same year as the First Edition with the bright red heart to front board and bright red lettering to the spine. A very bright copy indeed with absolutely no fading. Corners sharp and no bumping with only light foxing to the fore and top edges and the early/last page of the book. The boards are clean, beautiful condition with sharp corners and no edge wear. The binding is tight. The endpapers have no owner names, no inscriptions, no bookplates, no bookstore stamps. The internal pages are clean with no stains, no handling marks, no writing, only very slight foxing to some pages, Dusting to outer page block. Requisite rough-cut pages lower block edges as issued. A very nice, solid example of this title, being clean and without issue or inscriptions. Overall the book is a VG+ copy. Please see images for details.
