An interesting programme for an interesting theatre with a very attractive front cover. The Bouffes-Parisien was founded in 1855 by composer Offenbach for the performance of opera bouffe and operetta and is still being used today.
As expected with a revue, many actors, dancers and singers appear in this production including Georges Gabriel Thenon (nom de plume, and stage name: Rip), Edmond Roze, producer and actor, and Jean Sablon, singer and actor to name but a few. The programme also contains photographs of many of the cast.
32 pages including front and back covers; approx. 18cms x 13.5cms.
