This theatre programme presents The Belle of New York, a musical comedy in two acts written by Hugh Morton and music composed by Gustave Kerker. It was an American musical which ran in Broadway for only 64 performances however it later came to England and was the first American musical to become a huge success in the West End; it ran in London for 674 performances.
The colourful front cover (page 1) is printed in green, pink, red and gold ink; the internal pages and back cover page (page 4) are printed in black.
