With its colourful 1920s illustration, this Belgian theatre programme presents Dede, an operetta of which the synopsis is on pages 11 and 12.

The Théâtre des Capucines, Rue D’Arenberg, 3a, Bruxelles was so close to becoming yet another ‘lost theatre’ more than once, however it survived the years under several guises and is now Nova Cinema, which screens historic cinematic films in their original technical conditions.

20 pages including front and back cover; approx 17cms x 13.5cms

Initials and date inscribed on front cover presumably by original theatre-goer.

 

Condition Code: 4: Very good condition for a 97 year-old. Darkening, due to light exposure, around edges of cover. No rips or tears. No folds. Rusty staple but pages firmly intact.
