A typical ‘London Palladium’ designed programme with the featured headliner of the night being popular film star, comedian, dancer and singer, the charming and cheeky chappie, Donald O’Connor. Best known for his performance in the iconic musical film Singing in the Rain, where he starred alongside Gene Kelly and Debbie Reynolds. Mr O’Connor performed with many famous and popular film stars such as the alluring Marilyn Monroe and the effervescent larger than life Ethel Merman.
The programme itself consists of a slightly oversized smooth slightly glossed cover pages (1,2, 11,12) with coloured print, and slightly smaller cream matt internal pages with black print. There are informative advertisements and detailed illustrations. The variety cast list are presented on pages 5 & 7.
