This signed theatre programme presents the variety performance Wakey! Wakey! starring Billy Cotton and his band at the Winter Gardens theatre in 1955. The front cover page has a blue and white aerial photograph of the Winter Gardens. The cast list is presented across page 4-5 and has been signed by Billy Cotton and Earle & Vaughan.

Billy Cotton was a band leader and entertainer born William Edward Cotton in 1899-1969 although he had a successful career he was considered to have reached the peak of his career 1950-1960s as a successful and extremely popular radio and television personality during the decade.
