This exceptionally beautiful and rare theatre programme presents a royal command performance of the James Sheridan Knowles play The Hunchback. It was performed by Her Majesty’s Servants at Windsor Castle on 11th January 1860 just two years before the playwright’s death.
The single page programme (with fixed card backing) is embossed and cut to look like lace. It has been scanned with red board behind to enable the lace pattern to be discerned more clearly.
A wonderful historical document to grace the collection of any theatre collector or historian.
