This beautiful, rare souvenir theatre programme presents Dead Heart by Watts Phillips, produced by Henry Irving. The yellow, stiff card cover has been illustrated with the red, white and blue flag of France. The cover has protected the internal pages superbly which contain 13 stunning plates by J. Bernard Partridge, W. Telbin, J. Harker and the highly revered scene painter, Henry Hawes Craven Green (otherwise known as Hawes Craven). The plates portray scenes throughout the play. The eminent cast included the renowned couple, Henry Irving and Ellen Terry.
