This 1889 theatre programme is in excellent condition and presents Red Hussar, a romantic comedy opera, which opened on 23rd November 1889 to much acclaim. The cast is a who’s who of the time including Marie Tempest and was so successful the show opened in New York in August 1890 with Miss Tempest making her American debut.
