This special theatre 1800s theatre programme presents an ‘Original Comedy of Modern Life’. The play, Lady Barter, has an eminent cast including Lewis Waller and Lily Langtree. Mrs Langtree is also the lessee and manager of the Royal Princess’s Theatre. Sadly, the Royal Princess’s Theatre was demolished in 1931 for the construction of retail buildings. The site of the theatre is now 150 Oxford Street, London.
This decorative theatre programme is elaborately printed on card with lightly embossed gold borders and titles.
