This rare theatre programme presents The Idler, written by C. Haddon Chambers. The eminent cast is a who’s who of the acting fraternity of the period. This is a rare and ornate St. James’s Theatre design and therefore, an important addition for the collector.

A trifold programme made of card; approx 20.5cms x 9.5cms when closed, approx 20.5cms x 28cms when fully open.

Condition Code 3: Good. The programme is in very good condition, with pages flat, smooth and clean, no splits or folds. Inscription on rear flap: Louie Norma etc Box. July 29 presumably written by the original theatre-goer. Evidence of the rear panel having been mounted on pink/beige paper some time during its 129 years; this has caused some staining and paper retained. The price reflects this.
