The Masqueraders was a new and original play in four acts written by dramatist Henry Arthur Jones (1851 -1929). He wrote over 40 plays in his time including such successful plays as ‘Mrs Dane’s Defence’ and ‘The Dancing Girl’.

The programme consists of a single piece of card with a vertical central spinal fold and printed in red and black ink. The cast list is presented across page 2 of the programme and has a who’s who cast list of successful and popular actors of the time.

Page 4 of the programme is filled with many small and interesting advertisements relevant to the era including such products as Gold Tipped Cigarettes, Highland Malt Whisky, Natural Table Waters and High Class Biscuits and Cakes.

The programme is made up of 4 pages including the front and back cover pages. Approx. H 22cm x W 17cms.
