The Duchess of Dantzic was written by Henry Hamilton and the music was composed by the successful composer of the late 1800, Ivan Caryll, and is a light romantic opera in 3 acts. Ivan Caryll composed the music to a number of extremely successful plays including: The Shop Girl (1894) and The Gay Parisienne (1896). The play is set around a washer woman played by Miss Evie Greene and Napoleon during the French revolution.
There are 8 pages to the programme including front and back cover pages (1&8) approx. H 25cm x W 20cm.
