The play opened on 29 November 1913 and ran for 404 performances; Matheson Lang subsequently played the lead in the 1919 silent film of Mr Wu. This programme has a stylish front cover printed in red ink and embossed on cream card. It contains photographs of cast members, the cast list and other small articles to entertain the reader such as humourous quips and stories.
