This theatre programme is for the 10th Hippodrome musical review of Jig-Saw by Albert De Courville, Wal Pink and Edgar Wallace. The music was by Frederick Chappelle and Edward A. Horan. The production was staged by Julian Mitchell and the show was produced by Albert De Courville who was also the current general manager of the London Hippodrome. The show had a star studded cast including the famous Stanley Lupino (1893 – 1942) the famous English actor singer and director.
Containing black and white photographs of the cast, it also includes a full page photograph of Mr Albert De Courville.
There are many interesting articles throughout the programme including informative snippets about the cast of the show. The programme also contains numerous advertisements, some accompanied by black and white photographs and detailed illustrations. This include the promotion of perfumes, fashionable clothing of the era, music records of popular artists and several brands of cigarettes. This programme consists of smooth white paper printed in blues and black; the original blue and white seal sticker remains on the front and back cover pages.
