The Prince of Wales Theatre started producing the Folie Bergeres style shows started in 1932. Extremely popular with glamourous dancers, acrobats, magicians, and elaborate stage sets.

With its beautiful art deco design cover illustration, this Prince of Wales programme presents the 1934 Revue Folies de Can-Can with a programme of 18 different sets. Also includes editorial by producer, Alfred Esdaile, an article by Harold Downs, classified ads, plus illustrated advertising.

Notation on page 7, internal title page: April 30th, 1938 [with Bob] presumably written by original theatre-goer.

Condition Code: 4:  Very good condition with general of handling. Faint evidence of horizontal fold and some age-related discolouration. Staples rusty but pages firmly intact.
