This lovely slim programme is a rarer, small format programme due to the war-time conservation of paper. With Winston Churchill, King George VI with the Queen and the princesses Elizabeth and Margaret, as a few of its many theatre-goers, this play was hugely popular, running for 1337 performances between December 23rd 1942 – March 2nd 1946.
