This play was brought to its London audience by a Parisian Company in the charge of M. Charles Lauri. It is promoted as a musical without words, where the music is based on an original composition by Claude Debussy. This ornately decorated theatre programme is a two-fold, six-sided card and dated Tuesday August 4th 1891 in beautiful script presumably written by the original theatre-goer.

Approx. 21cms x 9.75 cms when closed; approx. 21cms x 29cms when fully opened.

Condition Code: 4-5: Being card has helped this theatre programme survive the last 125 years extraordinarily well. It is very clean, no creases. The top of the left spine has a 1cm split; the top of the right spine has ½ cm split, albeit difficult to see. Some faint foxing on front and back panel. Exceptional condition for such an historic programme.
