The Royal Court has had an interesting, determined theatrical history: it was built on Sloane Square in Kensington and Chelsea in 1888 until 1932. 1n 1935 it opened as a cinema until it was bombed during World War II in 1940. However, it re-opened in 1952 under the new ownership of The English Stage Company and continues successfully.
This larger size, rare theatre programme presents A Royal Family under the lessee and management of Mr. Arthur Chudleigh. Saturday 20th 1900 notated on front cover in pencil presumably by original theatre-goer.
