A fascinating example of illustrated adverts of the times. Using unusual duck egg green paper, this programme is for a popular play directed by Paul Armstrong who was a master of steamships for 5 years prior to his successful career as a playwright. The Play was produced by the famous Broadway producer Charles Frohman. In 1915 it was made into an American silent black and white movie directed by Maurice Tourneur. Includes a fascinating example of illustrated adverts of the times.
