This beautiful, rare souvenir theatre programme presents Shakespeare’s Henry the Eighth, on January 5th 1892. The bright, red hard board cover has been illustrated in gold and black. The cover has protected the internal pages superbly which contain 15 stunning plates by J. Bernard Partridge, W. Telbin, J. Harker and the highly revered scene painter, Henry Hawes Craven Green (otherwise known as Hawes Craven). The plates portray scenes throughout the play. The eminent cast included the renowned couple, Henry Irving and Ellen Terry.
